Prisoner - part 3 of 3

To make long story short, I would summarize his trial:

Yes, it was almost trivial … but we had some doubts …. jury discussion took for less then an hour and they have decided that he is not guilty.



BUT !!!! some things already happened:

He spent two months in jail.
He was suspended from his studies.

Trial took three days !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Witness of her, her friends.
Witness of all the police officers involved.
Witness of him.
Special characteristic witness, his friend who came for this from NY !
Another characteristic witness, his girlfriend. Indeed, for my total surprise, he met a very interesting woman in the last couple of weeks and they started going out.



Now, do you think that all of this public money (thousands of pounds) was worth spending ?

I think that democracy has its advantages, but as I see it, democracy has its hidden stones and it may ruin itself. Democratic system is trying to be a loyal for everybody, but this is impossible. All I am worried about, is that court system will be overused and finally stacked because the trials like this.
