I don’t have a clue about the authors meaning ... but I have come out with two personal explanations ... up to you to choose ... ...
1. Stop working ... it doesnot worth it ... the world wouldn’t change...
2. We work we do .. is actually our life ... our world ....

By the way, about the search ---> it's very simple:
when you have an exact phrase that you're looking for, you put it in "_____". So I wrote "The whole world + the work=" in Google, and the picture was the first result.
